A little more background…

I grew up in the littlest state in the U.S., and before college, I’d never left the East coast. I fell in love with travel on my first trip abroad during my junior year, but that love turned into a full-fledged obsession in 2017, when I flew solo across the world, traversing 6 countries in 2 weeks on a bus packed to the brim with 40 party-hard Aussies. Introverted, reserved, and cautious Halle was replaced by a suddenly outgoing and spontaneous person. It was an adventure of a lifetime that pushed me out of my comfort zone and sparked my fire for travel forever. Since then, I’ve hit destinations in Europe, Central America, Asia, and throughout the U.S. and don’t plan on stopping any time soon.

I definitely won’t be the most glamorous, polished, or put together – but hopefully you’re cool with that. As a traveler, I always aim to be as respectful, open-minded, responsible, and sustainable as possible to support the local communities of each place I am lucky enough to visit.
